It was of sheer delight to find this hidden gem of a Bed & Breakfast and to experience a most fabulous stay at the Bukidnon Country Lodge. A private estate of The Perrines' nothing was spared to capture the spirit, elegance and beauty of how life was lived of the then world gone by with all the comforts and conveniences of our modern needs.
Thanks to the guiding hands and ever watchful eye for detail of Paula Perrine, your every need is anticipated with all the warmth and efficiency of her staff in the most tranquil of settings in the heart of the Del Monte pineapple plantation field. It is indeed a unique and special place where one can nourish one's soul way from the hurly-burly of our ever hurried existence.
But for those with the adventurous and curious spirit, special tours can be arranged. The Tuminugan farm tour is a must. It is very interesting and highly educational ------- from the methodology of reforestation and sustainable organic farming to the making of coffee, raising of bees and horses. One can easily rekindle our love for the land and its glorious bounty. The Dahilayan Adventure Park offers all kinds of rides and there is the white river rafting in Cagayan de Oro nearby for the not so faint of heart. The Del Monte pineapple plantation tour is breathtaking with its endless vista and a visit to Camp Phillips gives you a glimpse of how it was then in the good old days living in the plantation.
My stay indeed was so unforgettable. Bukidnon Country Lodge is in a class of its own.

We really enjoyed our two-night stay at this beautifully-appointed boutique country lodge in the rolling hills and plantations of Bukidnon. Our suite was spacious and well-furnished, with high-quality bedlinens, large-screen tv, a/c and large patio at which breakfast was served each morning, overlooking the well-kept gardens and views across to Mt Kitanglad. Our host, Paula Perrine, could not have been more charming, and we enjoyed a memorable and delicious steak dinner with her one evening. She organized a tour for us of Tuminguan farm nearby, which included a visit to the organic nursery farm and coffee plantation. We also visited the bee farm and learned a lot about beekeeping. And then we went on to the horse stud farm. and were treated to demonstration of horse training. We also had time to purchase a jar of honey, some packs of their excellent coffee, turmeric and adlai (a highly-nutritious grain which is gluten-free). After a super buffet lunch which included ingredients from the nursery farm, we visited the Del Monte pineapple plantation and golf course. We also drove past the Dahilayan Adventure Park, and could see people enjoying themselves on the zip lines. All in all, this was a lovely, peaceful stay and we are looking forward to going back there again very soon.

Room tip: Ask ahead about their tour packages & white-water rafting

Beautiful lodge surrounded by pineapple fields. The staff was super sweet and the food tasted delicious. We had a very big and very comfortable bed. I got a great massage . You can also horse ride or hike nearby which is awesome!
I totally recommend it to anyone, it was a very beautiful, unique and authentic experience

Wow, where to begin. We were met at the airport by the driver in a very solid and new 4x4 pick up truck which smoothly made the drive up to the lodge.
We were then greeted in great style by Paula and the staff who took the most wonderful care of us and made the most delicious meals time and time again.
My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to stay in the Mango Room which was very spacious and overlooked the stunning garden beyond. The only minor downside was that the wifi did not work from within the room.
We did the horse riding activity but were unable to do many others as we were not so lucky with the weather for a long weekend at the end of January At this wonderful property, it did not dampen our spirits and we were so grateful for the opportunity to see this beautiful part of the Philippines.
Can not recommend it strongly enough!

Everything is great about this lodge, but most of all the hospitality. The food was great, the cleanliness was top notch, and the room was perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone. I can't say enough about the staff and how well they take care of their guests.
