I had dinner with my wife at this trattoria. The place was full. There were many italian families. The ambience is very informal, as well as the service. Don’t expect a romantic, quiet atmosphere, but the experience can be amusing. The dishes are very traditional piemontese, including vitello tonnato, tajarin and many others. There are very good wines. I had great Barolo Mercenasco 2011 (Ratti).
The cost is fair.

The format is that you eat what they have prepared that day. No written menu, served family style by the waitperson. Good food, very nice staff, great for kids - very accommodating on the dishes served to the kiddies. First course was beef tartar, which I don't eat, but they subbed out just for me with a pate instead. Noisy, bustling, fun atmosphere. There is a play area outside for the kids when they get bored.

A good recommendation by our hotel - a typical trattoria, no menu, but you decide how many courses you take. Typical local food in good quality and if you decide to go all the way through all courses quite a lot of food.

Our family of 11 had a spectacular lunch recently . The Restaurant is in a beautiful setting with a great and safe play area for the kids . The food was terrific - no menu but the chef made the most delicious antipasti - plentiful and perfect for the whole family including the vegetarians .
Pasta with truffles was exceptional and our main course of baked eggs and vegetables was awesome - my description doesn't do it justice . Despite being groaningly full, we all managed a desert - chocolate puddings and ice cream and exceptional panna cotta went down well! The wine list is really thoughtful and full of great local wines. Reasonably priced and well worth a visit

Great spot to enjoy a nice meal at an affordable price, without having to worry about kids misbehaving at the table. The kids can have fun at the playground as adults enjoy the multi-course meal. We went for a full lunch (2hours!) and it was great.

Wines were great (of course, we are near Barolo), and food was phenomenal. We had the antipasti which included beef tartar with celery and parmesan on the side; chicken salad; eggplant in a crust served with don't cheese sauce; and crostini with roasted tomato, green sauce, and anchovies. We shared (kids included) mushroom risotto, ravioli (wow, the best I've ever had), and long pasta with black truffles - I mean, generous portion of truffles shaved right in front of us. We then got full and could not go for the "second course".

The first course (pasta) was €9 each (even with that much of truffles!) and the course of antipasti was €15, to give you a sense of the price. Well worth the visit, especially if you have children but want a nice Italian meal!
