What a fabulous time we had, the hotel is small, elegant, unique and very comfortable and the staff were absolutely so kind, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Its an old family home which has been so very cleverly changed into this unique hotel, fabulous bedrooms and bathrooms, with just 10 rooms (I believe) it has so much charm and grace.

Every morning we started our day on the roof terrace having breakfast, a lovely abundant array of croissants, bread rolls, cheeses and hams, yoghurts and muesli, juices and plenty of fresh coffee! with views of the incredible Azure sea.

We booked a superior room and loved it, from the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome. Both girls were enthusiastic about their town and it's surrounding area, they couldn't stop giving us advice. Where to eat and where to go, it was like having tourist information at your fingertips. Back to the hotel, it is situated close to the harbour, where we parked our hire car, not free, I think that was for locals, but through the barrier and only 3€ a day. The hotel is in a small street a few paces past the castle. We asked a mechanic in the garage on the corner (this is a working community) and he pointed us in the right direction. You are greeted by modern glass doors on a genuinely old town property and this set the scene for the rest of the hotel. Beautifully renovated but keeping the old world charm. Our room was on the first floor, cyclamen I think, it featuring a mosaic tiled floor and fab arched ceiling. A door led through to another room with full height doors opening on to a small balcony and a spiral staircase to a mezzanine with a further two beds, again with an arched ceiling. Breakfast was on the roof terrace which again had a lot of thought in its design giving the hotel a boutique feel. Breakfast was adiquate without being sumptuous. We were rather late the first morning and breakfast was depleted but they russelled up some freshly boiled eggs with fresh bread and fruit which was the signature of all the staff in the hotel, nothing was too much trouble. Gallipoli is a very interesting place to stay and this was ideal for our two night visit.

We were the first guests of the season, little did we know that the Easter celebrations were going to be over the top!! The hotel was quaint, wonderful rooms & English speaking staff.
DO NOT DRIVE ON TO ISLAND!! Park at local dock area to avoid ticket!! Later in the season, hotels will give you a pass , so you can unload luggage and then park.... Breakfast was served indoors the first day, roof top the second. Food was fresh & local. The walking village is step back in time, little shops, locals serving great sweets!!
The hotel does not have an elevator. Rooms were all different in set up & size.
We picked the perfect time to get away, the festive town at Easter put on a 3 day/ night show.
Hotel reasonably priced. Had a great time! P.S. we did get a ticket, staff member wrote us a note in Italian, brought it to police station, all good, no fine!!!

What drew us here was the location, within walking distance of everything. What wowed us was the decor of the building and the tremendously helpful lady at the front desk. Superb hospitality, lovely breakfast on the roof top. Beware of parking your vehicle in the old part, you will get ticketed.

We ha d a lovely experince at this hotel. We were one of the first guests of the opening season. We arrived the Thursday before Easter, & had an amazing pre holiday display!!
Remember NOT TO DRIVE INTO OLD CITY!!! Park down at the port, and walk up to hotel. You can obtain a pass to cross the bridge. Quaint little town with lots of shops.
The hotel was serving breakfast on the rooftop, which was nice. Our room was large, as well as the bathroom. The staff spoke English , and helped us solve our " ticket" we got for driving into old city. All turned out fine!! Staff was excellent. Beds very comfortable .
Nice place to visit!!
