You might take the bus 14 close to the thysen museum, up to conde de casal and from there look for the bus 337 ( use app move it)
Coming back use the dame combination in opposite way
A very old city nice to walk, brings memories from granada, narrow streets, white houses and red-brown ceilings
Can buy donas at the monastery they open to sell.
Really Beautiful !! A perfect family options kids have so much fun with the donkeys or the small train at the plaza mayor.

Thank Veronica E

We went yesterday and it was a medieval fair in the town. The square very nice with lot of great bars and restaurants. I should be back and without the fair just to see it empty.

Fabulous square with numerous restaurants, bars and cafes serving the local delicious tapas and pastries.

It was the famous bullring where many events take place.

Beautiful balconies all round where you can sit and eat whilst people watching.

We spent part of each day in Plaza Mayor either for drinks or for meals. The restaurants are of varying quality but very interesting and all staff whether English speaking or not just love to help you select a meal and enjoy a good laugh over the language difficulties.

We were lucky to visit the day after a bullfighting weekend. The stands were still in place and the centre of the square was covered in sand. Apart from the cars parked the square would have looked very much the same 200 years ago; a true step back in time and well worth a detour to visit.
