“Absolutely wonderful!!!”
Reviewed 25 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

My friend and I have just spent a lovely five days at Steve and Alison's lovely cottage. Beautifully decorated , well equipped and very comfortable. The goody package was well received. The boat inn is excellent for eating out. Very large meals and no room for pudding! Also the sun inn at Winforton is excellent too. Would recommend to friends and family.

Thank you for your kind review, we are so glad that you found everything you needed and had a comfortable stay with us. We are indeed spoilt for places to eat in both our and neighbouring villages - the only way to manage a starter and a pudding at our local is to miss out the main course!
Thank you for recommending us to your friends and family, we hope to see you and them soon. Kind regards.

“Fab find”
Reviewed 25 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We were lucky to find a last minute availability at Montgomery coach house that allowed us to go to a family funeral.
On arrival we were greated by Steve how very happily showed us around his stunning coach house.
In the kitchen was a lovely welcome basket with a loaf of bread, crisps, cider and some dog biscuits.
The coach house is a absolute credit to Steve and his wife, they have done a stunning job of renovating it to how it is today and it shows how proud they are of it.
There is a lovely little garden that was perfect for our dog.
We had a lovely stay and we hope that we will be able to come back and explore some more of the area. It's a great location to head into Wales from.
We've already recommended here and friends have booked the b&b for September.
Keep up the good work and hopefully we will be back.
Book this while you have the chance you won't be disappointed.

That was great of you to leave us such a positive review Nick, despite the sad occasion that brought you back to Herefordshire.
We are glad you enjoyed the small welcome basket but suspect the tea/coffee, milk and sugar were of more immediate use after your journey!
You are of course right to say we are delighted with the way the renovation of our old Coach House turned out and we are determined that it stays in tip-top condition for all of our future guests.
How nice that your friends have booked to stay with us in one of our B&B rooms, I assumed they checked out the separate Trip Advisor review page before booking? Even if they didn't we will be sure to make them both welcome and comfortable. We hope to see you again soon. Best wishes.

“Lovely and homely property”
Reviewed 19 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

On arrival we met the owners Steve and Alison who showed us around the property and told us how things worked. They were also very helpful with recommendations on things to do and where to eat. The property itself was spot on. Very clean and had everything that you could need for a holiday. We took our two dogs who loved the little dog garden at the back. There are lots of walks from the doorstep and a pub just a few minutes walk. A farm shop that sells lovely fresh bread and a garage that you can get newspapers and essentials from but watch out for the best before dates. The beds are very comfortable, the bath towels were big and fluffy. The rain shower was gorgeous and the water was hot. Will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

It was great to meet all Viki B, we do like guests who appear to make the very most of their stay with us and you certainly seemed to do that. It would be a shame for you to have missed out on the surfeit of attractions we have virtually on our doorstep - and I don't just mean the pub and farm shop!
You have inspired us to take our nephew on the Brecon steam railway the next time he visits and we really must visit the Tram Inn again soon for one of their lovely meals. Do come and see us the next time you are over this way. Kind regards.

“Wonderful place - beautifully appointed, great owner”
Reviewed 1 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We stayed here for a week, with our daughter joining us for the weekend.

Two identical, well fitted bedrooms with very comfy beds. A bathroom with a powerful, hot shower. A good kitchen (with welcome basket of bread, crisps, biscuits and cider and milk and spread in the fridge) and a comfortable sitting area made for an excellent stay.

Steve, the owner, made us very welcome.

Although just off the main road, the house is very quiet, even when sitting out on the deck in the sunshine.

The Boat Inn down the road serves good (large) meals.

If you are there and the skies are clear, do stare up through the velux windows in the bedrooms - you get to see a lot of stars here.

Hi Clivel_98, thank for going to the trouble and effort of putting a review on our Coach House TA page, it is much appreciated.

What is more important of course is that you all enjoyed your stay with us and felt welcome - both by me and the basket of goodies!

I have to say that as much as I enjoy eating in our local I have yet to manage both a starter and a pudding; we recommend the pub to our guests but we also recommend they go there hungry....

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and we look forward to welcoming you all back soon. Kind regards.
