A fantastic breakfast spot run by the loveliest couple! They were so welcoming and helpful, and everything they made was just delicious.

We ate here twice during our stay in Holbox - we had the smoothie bowl and the granola jar, and their iced coffees were amazing. The perfect, refreshing breakfast for a hot day!

Everything was so reasonably priced as well. Brilliant all round, this place deserves to do so well! Definitely give them a visit!

A friend and I recently spent a week in beautiful Isla Holbox and came across El Tropical just steps from our hotel. The shop is very quaint but adorable. They paid just as much attention to the detail of their store as they do to their delicious granola bowls and smoothies. The shop is bright and sunny and decorated with colorful paintings and a map of the island. The shop owners are a super sweet young couple that were more than accommodating. One day I wanted condensed milk on my yogurt but they were out and the woman went out and bought some just for my order.

My go to every day was a yogurt and granola bowl with mango, strawberry, coconut flakes, blueberry, almonds and condensed milk. Not only did they make it fresh and in front of you but the presentation was very beautiful, even adding little flowers on top. We were hooked and ate breakfast there every morning. Their iced coffee is great as well! I highly recommend this hidden gem, I'm back home and miss it already.
