Went on a three island tour and this was one of the stops. I’ve been to Mexico before and seen real Cenotes and that’s interesting, this is just a really small fresh water lagoon. Nothing that I’d recommend spending money to see.

It was a cool spot to visit and go for a dip. The water is cold and sweet! There are iguanas and raccoons roaming around the area which is fun to watch. They have a little restaurant in the location as well. The cenote is not huge but large enough for a lot of people to go swimming at the same time.

I went to this place on a tour at 9am, which meant our boat had the place to ourselves. Highly recommend this hour, because if it were the usually crowded situation, it would have not been very nice. It is much smaller than the photos show, but it is truly refreshing!

This place is teeming with wildlife, the boat journey over was magical with little dolphins swimming next to the boat.
Once moored you take a walk up a cute little path surrounded by crabs and lizards.
The history of this place is awesome and added to the magic.

Then we came to the main attraction... A little bandit eating a packet of crisps, honestly the best part of the day!

But seriously the pool was cold but worth the dip, crystal clear water amazing natural springs!

100% would dip in again.

I visited this lagoon with VIPS tours with Negro & Jaime, the owner. It was a full day tour with many good friends and i loved the fresh waters and the interesting historic spot!
