This hotel is lovely! Small and intimate. Very beautiful open-air lobby and check-in. We arrived and within minutes we were in our room-Sunflower-right on the beach. Our luggage was already in the room. We had a mini kitchen with a sink, electric pot to heat water for tea, mugs and spoons and tea and a small refrigerator. There was a decanter to fill for fresh water and water jugs around the property. The queen size bed was a little hard for my liking but nothing to complain about. The air conditioning worked very well. A small partition with hangers for clothes and a very small table with drawers. The bath had a beautiful Mexican style sink with cold water only but the shower had plenty of hot water. My only comment is the toilet was in the corner and you had to basically climb over the edge of the shower to get to it. The room also had a safe which we had a few problems with but the issues were addressed almost immediately. Everything was very clean. This room is steps from the beach and the lounge chairs and every morning I was able to put our towels and beach bag out before breakfast. Everyone seemed to do this although getting a lounge was never a problem but you would have to take what you could get if going later. We ate breakfast every morning at the restaurant and had the included breakfast. Unlimited coffee/tea, juice, excellent toasted bread, jelly, and always a choice of fruit/yogurt/granola or the breakfast of the day. You could of course order off the regular menu but whatever we had was fine and presented very nicely. Happy hour was 5pm-7pm and certain drinks were 2 for 100 pesos. They made excellent margaritas and mojitos. There was service on the beach. We also went to a managers cocktail party on Saturday from 5-6PM and had a drink and sushi and they had music up on the top deck which is lovely. The location of this hotel is perfect. It is right on the very edge of the town and a 2 minute walk to the town center. You can walk everywhere from here. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I will return to this hotel someday soon!More
