Were staying here for a good value price compared to all other offers in Adelaide.

Pool was out of order the day we arrived.

Room (on top floor) was rather small and in need for modernization. Btw without air conditioning.

Location very good, just besides the Adelaide rectangular park zone. Walk to centre 15 minutes.

Later on we upgraded to a suite, which was much nicer!

Room tip: Ask for a (spare) suite, it will be much better than other rooms!

Thank you for your review. We certainly are perfectly located only minutes from the CBD and across from the lovely parklands. Combined with well priced rates this makes us an ideal venue when visiting the city. Our suites are very popular specifically for their quiet location and spaciousness. We look forward to securing you one of these on your next visit!

On arrival, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful and as we'd requested a quiet family room moved us to a Spa Suite at the back of the hotel which was really roomy and quiet.

The hotel is generally clean with quality towels and bath robes, but the decor is mainly from the 1970'2-80's which is a real shame. The pool was clean enough but a little dark and dingy. The outdoor sitting area does need a clean as there were innumerable cigarette ends and a bottle near a sun lounger.

OK for a nights stay but I wouldn't want to really stay longer.

Staying in room 220, reasonable rate and not bad overall with a lot of potential with better management but..
Good - Housekeeping does a good job with the basics, clean, well presented, reception polite and friendly convenient location and onsite parking.
Bad - Let down by what appears to be long term inattention to basic room maintenance...door handles coming off, loose tapware in bathroom, sticky doors, water dripping down from aircon above during night making sleep very difficult (reported but not attended to), Roof top (staff?)relaxation area outside my window has dirty glasses and empty beer bottles left there unattended for at least 3 days so far.

Room tip: Request a room that doesn't have a window over the conference area and a room that does not face dequetteville terrace.

I stayed there for 4 nights. The hotel was busy with booking but the service was excellent. I love my stay there, they have great food great room service. As they say good things comes in small packages. No reception after 11pm but there is always a night guard who is always there for assistance. He is helpful! I love everyone at that hotel except one lady, I believe is the manager who kinda didn't want me to stay there. Though she was very professionally well behaved but somehow I got that feeling. I had to move out due to lack lack room extension. It has a small bar and seriously great food restaurant for a fraction of a price! I love my stay there and will definitely recommend friends and family to choose it, when going to adelaide. Worth the money spent and with impeccable top end service quality. I get the feeling that everyone in that hotel do whatever they do by heart and not for the sake. Except that manager. Also there is a gentleman at the reception who I believe is only man in the reception. He was just fantastic, he took my reservation before I left for Adelaide. His service is top class nothing less. He was helpful and very kinda with the service he provided. I really appreciate his generous help and his impeccable service. Maybe a little small, but compact and fitted with all necessities that travellers usually need. It's like a staying in a smaller version of a 5* hotels. It has a swimming pool though due to lack of time didn't get to enjoy a jump in the pool. They also have spa but also didn't get to enjoy it either. Have clean laundry. It's about $8 for wash and dry. Do not choose a room on level 1. Level 1 rooms are very close to laundry and also it's at the entrance of after midnight entry. Can be quite a distraction.

Room tip: Choose a room on the 3rd floor which is far from the roads and also the bar so less noise, not that I encounter any problems but yeah a general advice.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Royal Coach, the room was very nice, clean, good size, everything we were after for an overnight stay. We even had a late checkout of 11am - however, what is the point?? At 8am on a Sunday morning after attending a late wedding the night before, we were awoken by the housekeeping staff. They were out in the corridors - yelling down the corridors to one another about cleaning products, towel numbers and I think one of them even managed to drop a tray of cutlery or dishes. The noise was incredibly loud. My partner and I were then wide awake, gone was our sleep-in on a very rare weekend away for us, thus creating too rather disappointed and tired people.
The guests really dont need to hear the discussion between the housekeeping ladies of who gets paid how much on Sunday rates, who was called in and who was away. This was heard through the walls and door!!! Management should take it to task and remind these women just how loud they really are!!! Shhhh please.
We probably would stay there again, as it was nice and catered for all we needed, but I wouldnt do it for a relaxing time-out weekend.

Room tip: check in early if you have a car. Car spaces are limited.
