Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Once again the cottage has been perfect in every way. Three generations - grandma, daughter and granddaughter returning for two weeks this year enjoying Folk Festival during first week and Water Gala during the second week with lovely weather too! So much to see and do in Broadstairs and surrounding area impossible to fit it all in.
Cottage cannot fail to impress ... even towards the end of the high season standard of cleanliness is truly amazing, games and toys replaced or added to and very apparent that owners Tracey (and Richard) have lovingly and thoughtfully considered the needs of everyone who may step over the threshold. Babies to centenarians are spoilt here! Thank you for another wonderful stay making wonderful holiday memories for the family album.
Stayed for a week with wife and children aged 4 and 6. Our second stay at Seagull cottage, and will be returning for a third.
The house is smart, very well furnished and equipped (especially the kitchen). Our kids were very keen on the garden and the playroom. We drove or cycled to the beach - there are several, of which Stone bay was our favourite (easy to park nearby, sandy) but Joss bay and the Lido at Walpole bay worth recommending also.
The location is excellent, with the beach close by and lots to do and visit in the surrounding area, we visited somewhere different each day most of it on foot, as the Viking coastal trail is easy walking, even with a toddler and stroller. The cottage has been thoughtfully designed, with a real home feel, everything you could possibly need. It is very tastefully decorated, cozy, yet still with plenty of space, the garden is so very lovely. If you are considering visiting the area, then you need look no further, it ticked all our boxes.
Beautiful clean light and airy cottage very welcoming. Broadstairs a very traditional old fashion seaside we used the local buses which were very cheap and regular as parking expensive would highly recommend seagull cottage and broadstairs
