A bit of a ruin, but plenty to explore. Numerous information plaques to help get a sense of the history of the place. Visited twice and been the only visitors on both occasions, worth the short walk across a couple of fields to get there.

Only a small, lovely trek required to get to this incredible hidden gem. I cannot emphasise how wonderful this castle is, especially the carved Renaissance porch. Loved it.

The castle itself is a bit decrepit but the walk there is nice. Good information plaques in each room. Castle is a bit misnomer, more like a mansion.

This place is the definition of "off the beaten track"! we had to ask directions from a local lady, who pointed us in the right place. Once we found Beaupre, it was so worth the effort!
Look out for the sign for the castle while you're driving and then there's a small lay-by to park in, then you walk across 3 fields (one with some friendly cows!). It's a beautiful building and so much of it is still standing. There's stairs to go up and down, wooden walkways at the top, and so many little paths and rooms to explore. There are even some Cadw information boards in case you want to learn about the history.
An amazing historical place to visit on a sunny day!
