Beautiful farmhouse with charm. Location superb on hill top with fantastic views over vineyards and olive groves and rolling hills with sunflowers blooming in nearby fields.
Gardens and pool maintained well. Room was cleaned every morning and towels changed regularly.
Lots of shade to sit under when too hot (38C in July). Sun loungers and hammocks were great and nice having plenty of space to to relax with scattered chairs and tables too.
Restaurant outdoors was lovely. Great choice of food at breakfast with homemade cakes.
Evening set meal was very good at 25 euros for starter, pasta course, meat course, dessert , wine and water. My husband loved the T bone steak for two himself.
We bought the home made olive oil and wine which we have yet to try.
The owners were friendly and we must try and learn more Italian so we can communicate better next time. Wish we had booked a week instead of 5 days.
Hiring a car was needed to get around.
Having a gazebo with lovely Maurizio offering massage in the corner of the garden overlooking the hills was bliss and so relaxing.
Siena is worth a visit. Florence, easy to get to by train from Siena, but was too hot to appreciate the day we went. On way back to Pisa airport we stopped at a little town called Piccioli for a wander which was nice.
Hope to go back soon.

Room Tip: 'Panse' room on ground floor looked onto pool and had good views. Simple decor and quite dark but okay as very hot outside.

My wife and I stayed a week at the Villa. It is very well located close to Siena, Buonconvento, Montalcino and Sprienza We hired a car in Siena to ensure we could see Tuscany. The Villa has a restaurant and it's own vineyard and small winery and uses own produce in meals. The apartment suited two people and the pool on site is just fantastic. A few wifi unavailability issues seemed to be more representative of the local network than In house capability. The adjacent rolling hills, covered in vineyards, sunflower and cereal crops is spectacular. Groceries or restaurants are obtainable in nearby Buonconvento, a short drive away. We recommend guests pick up the basics before arrival as these things are not supplied in apartments eg tea, coffee, detergent etc. Try Di Marios restaurant for an authentic family run typical Tuscan meal. It is a hoot. The Brunello and Super Tuscan wines from Altesino Winery nearby are superb and the wine tasting experience to die for. Great stay and great location, albeit the site could do with a little more maintenance especially the grounds.

Our second nights stay in Tuscany and Wow!!! After a 5k slight uphill walk from Buonconvento we were bowled over by this charming old farmhouse and which ever way you look the views across rolling hills, vineyards, olive trees and the countryside are stunning. We stayed in The Tower Room after climbing 2 flights of stairs the views got even better if that is possible!! For the romantics among you this is the room for you This is a very special agriturismo.

This was the second time we spent a week at agriturismo Pieve Sprenna. We rented a separate house with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen with dinning room, terrace...
Excellent accomodation, nice fireplace, grill outside, perfect view from the terrace.
Perfect location to visit wine producers from Chianti in the north, to Montalcino and Montepulciano on the south. Very nice walking and cycling possibilities.

We were a cycling group from Malta, staying for one night while cycling from Bologna to Pisa, I consider Pieve Sprenna as one of the Top Agri-tourism in Italy. The Location is excellent, The food is excellent, the breakfast was excellent, the rooms are nice and clean and the Owners are the cherry on the cake. We enjoyed having a beer at the external sitting room watching the peaceful view of Tuscany and a fresh dash in the swimming pool....there is nothing to complain about. Well done for your professional service.
