We went over Easter weekend, a family group with teenagers and grandparents. We all enjoyed it. I am not keen on enclosed spaces but it was well lit and although there were a couple of sections that were low, it wasn’t for long and didn’t bother me at all. Great tour guide, interesting to listen to. Friendly staff and a great experience for all of us, young and old. Really worth a visit and a good price. Would definitely recommend.

Not quite as wow as I thought it would be. By far the best most amazing part is the end of the tour which is in one of the big caverns.

I took my D-SLR and tripod hoping to get some amazing long exposures in down there but unfortunately I was not allowed to use the tripod at all. The tour guide explained it was due to setup time and it becoming a trip hazard. Both reasons I can understand however, if you place yourself at the ack of the group there was multiple occasions where tripod use would have been possible and safe. Even more so on the return walk. The guide finishes the tour in the cavern and you are then left to make your own way back to the entrance (15 min walk). Yes the guide is the last one out but most people wander back at their own pace, taking in more of the cave or walking quick. I wouldn’t see it being much of an issue to have a bit of tripod time here...

I did get a few shots but the low light made for a mediocre record of our visit.

Thank you for your visit, and for your review. Tripods can be an obstruction hazard, especially in the narrower cave passages, and in an emergency. Also, the open grid metal flooring on much of the route is not suitable for tripods, risking instability and damage to photographic equipment.

Visited on Good Friday and very glad we did. Much better than a boring trip to a cinema or some other modern means of a supposed family day out. Our tour guide James was charismatic and friendly and made it fun yet informative. As already mentioned, there are low sections which involve having to walk bent over but, I'd much rather get a sore back doing this than get repetitive strain from using a mobile phone. A great little day out!

This was our second visit, previously having been there when children much younger. It’s great for young ones as exciting to be underground (and watching out for fairies and goblins can keep them entertained!). Older teenagers in tow this time and would recommend it for adults and teens even if only a minimal interest in the natural world. The guide was really knowledgeable and very good at providing just the right amount of interesting information.

Visited the caves last week. Guide was very good and the staff very friendly. Tour took about 80 minutes. Very enjoyable and worth a visit.
