3 nights stay, for 4 friends on a walking trip to the Yorkshire Dales. Harling House is an excellent base to explore the area and easy to find on the A65 just on the edge of Ingleton village. It is a great opportunity to see the very scenic Ingleton Falls Trail on the day of arrival or departure, as it is 10 minutes away and takes 2-3 hours to complete. You can also pick up The Pennine Way in the village to head up Ingleborough. We stayed during the mini beast from the East, which made for a very interesting and memorable walking experience.

This lovely B&B deserves it's excellent ratings and I can echo everyone else's comments. We stayed here for new year and I was pleasantly surprised to find somewhere so wonderful at such a good price! I think the value for money is fantastic as you also have breakfast included. The B&B was very modern, lovely hosts, well located, and fantastic choice of breakfast, not to mention homemade cakes as well!

We stayed here for the weekend whilst we travelled to see Ingleton Waterfalls Trail and ride the Settle to Carlisle train. The room was beautiful, and we woke to a fabulous cooked breakfast each morning - thanks Sue and Steve!

Having read the previous reviews, my boyfriend and I were already excited to stay here.
Sue and Steve were excellent hosts, welcoming us with a pot of tea and a delicious slice of cake. They also gave us great recommendations on activities and places to eat.
The breakfast was amazing (and was the only reason my boyfriend actually managed to get out of bed in the morning!)
The bnb itself was very cosy and homely.
Wish we could have stayed longer!

Thank you very much for leaving such a wonderful review. We're pleased you both enjoyed your stay (including the breakfast and cake) and the area. Of course it would be a pleasure to have you stay here again if you return to the area, maybe for longer next time and when it's warmer.

A beautiful house built in the 1800s with views over the countryside. Our room was warm with a lovely, snuggly duvet and a modern en suite with soft, fluffy white towels. We arrived later than planned and Sue and Steve cancelled our restaurant booking for us and welcomed us with tea and cake. The weather was challenging and they suggested routes to walk each day which worked very well for us. They are friendly, helpful hosts who give you fresh milk to go with the tea, coffee and hot chocolate available the room, cook a cracking breakfast and will even provide you with a hot water bottle. Don't think about it - book now!

Room Tip: We had the room at the top of the stairs straight ahead, two windows with countryside views and a very comfortable double bed.

Thank you so much Stephen for your lovely review. It was a pleasure having you all to stay and we're pleased that you managed to enjoy your hikes (especially in the challenging weather), pub entertainment and meal out. Of course if you come back to the area, it would be lovely to see you again.
