We always plan time to stay whenever we are in Italy. Enrico and Laura are the most wonderful and friendly hosts. The rooms are well appointed and the breakfasts, served on the patio, are outstanding. The Villa, nestled among the olive orchard, is very relaxing after a day of touring Tuscany. Enrico and Laura are happy to recommend restaurants or places to visit to enrich your stay in Tuscany. You can sit on the patio and enjoy a glass of wine while deciding where to dine. Our most favorite place in all of Italy.

Room Tip: Every room we have stayed in is comfortable and has plenty of room.

This agriturismo is charming and run by warm, efficient owners who are helpful in every aspect, whether going to Florence for a day trip or simply walking in the nearby hills. Local restaurant - 5 minutes away - is traditional and splendid. Recommend this for a place to relax yet near the bustle of Florence city. Pool wonderful, amenities excellent and breakfast more than worth getting out of bed for

Room Tip: all rooms seem good. all have efficient ceiling fans that work well instead of air con

It´s an ideal place to stay for a nice holiday in Tuscany. I stayed here unfortunately only for one night as a part of my business trip, but I would really like to come back for a longer holiday as this place worths a longer stay.
It´s situated in a beautiful environment with awesome views, close to Lastra a Signa, not far away from Florence, but in a very calm area where you could feel the special Tuscany spirit. Just arriving on a narrow road you feel that this will be something special.
The structure is very nice and well maintained. At least my room was huge, I don´t remember where I had such a room. The services are on a high level, I was impressed by an abundant breakfast with a vast selection. The staff is very friendly, eager to help you to have a perfect stay.

Perfectly situated, just outside of the village of Lastra a Signa, close enough to Florence to get in and out by tram from the nearby village of Scandicci to spend the day there, then retreat to the quiet and beauty of the Tuscan countryside. You'll need a car to access the villa, and the only thing marring the experience is the impossibly narrow, single car width, stone wall lined access roads. Be sure to take Via Leonardo da Vinci as Via de Calciniaia may cause scrapes on your car. The hostess, Laura, is English speaking, very friendly and helpful, providing us with maps, and lots of information.

Avoid the nearby restaurant of Edy Piu,it's overrated and not cheap.

The room does not have a fridge or coffee maker, which would have been nice, given that there are no shopping facilities within walking distance.
