Family of four stayed at the hotel for just over a week. We couldn’t have asked for more. The staff are great, really looked after us. Organised airport transport. Breakfast & dinner was very good. We booked a Family Cabana and it was perfect. There are two pools, so loads for the kids to do. Monitor lizards of all shapes and sizes running around. It’s a ten minute walk down to Unawatuna Beach, ten mins in tuk tuk to Jungle Beach, 15 mins in tuk tuk to Galle or turtle hatchery. Loads of cafés and restaurants down the road. Great location. Would stay again. Highly recommended.

We have never stayed at the hotel but have been to eat their on several occasions to eat during the evening. It is a wonderful place to go with a large selection on the menu. the food is cooked to preference and a high level of excellence and the ambience of the venue is lovely. Highly recommend the experience of an evening meal here

Stayed here for about 9 days at the end of a 17 day visit to Sri Lanka. Not easy to find opposite Katis coffee shop, small turning right if you're coming from Galle or left from the opposite direction, about 30 yards up its on the right hand side, not very well signposted.2 swimming pools, one not very health and safety conscious, steps on the way in.not easy to manage.breakfast included.Plate of fruit tea or coffee processed meats and cheeses olives.Eggs done as you want with various fillings.Tea excellent, coffee not so.Oh and usually watermelon juice.Quite good.Meals of an evening were ok good quality steaks but oversalted for my taste.Rooms were ok , mosquito nets covering the beds which were reasonably comfortable. All in all quite a good stay.Staff excellent very smiley

Nice hotel but some rooms needs updating, we stayed in a deluxe cabana which has a nice bathroom but the room was very dated and needs an upgrade. There are some superior deluxe cabanas which looked much better. There are 2 pools which have nice gardens and sun loungers to relax on.

This is a fine place to choose. There are a few bothersome discrepancies between the Booking.com details v.s. hotel policy. There is a credit card charge, there are no double delux rooms at ground floor level, and the hotel did NOT honor the 'exchange rate on day of departure'. Aside from these grievances, we had an enjoyable stay, particularly after upgrading to a cabana from the smallish room up 2 flights of stairs. The cabana room was spacious, with a nice seating area outdoors. The pools are excellent, as is the breakfast buffet. Most outstanding are the staff members (special mention to the kind, hard working gardener). Our jacuzzi did not work on arrival. A team fixed it the next day. When we discovered we had been over charged, significantly, due to their using the wrong exchange rate, we went out of our way to return to sort the problem. This staff member refused to refund our money. Had he been more amenable, we would certainly give this hotel a higher rating.

Room tip: The cabanas are your best option....even the service improves in them.
