We have stayed here twice now as a family. It has an unbeatable location overlooking the beach, on the second floor of a historic palazzo. It adjoins and overlooks the well known Palazzo Belmonte, where we have also stayed many times.
The apartment is beautifully historic, but could do with a new sofa, a lick of paint and updated plumbing and electrics. But then a week here costs the same as a night at Palazzo Belmonte, with the same fabulous beach and village on your doorstep.
Lido di Azzuro ('Franco's') is THE beach to go to, 2 minutes from the apartment. The best gelati in town is on the ground floor of the same building.
Great value for a historic spot on the beach, rare in the Med these days.
