We stopped here for a drink. nice little spot. The guy eating the huge steak next to us looked happy. The decor was weird american western. Young italians smoking cigarrettes on the porch. nice last stop for a quite night.

Friendly and enjoyed sitting at the front overlooking the road into the village and it had a good selection of drinks from which to select.

Heavens! Being so juvenile as to say 'Don't Go' when you've not even been in seems rather mean!
El Gringo is essentially a bar where, often the locals of St Agata go. It isn't a fancy bar, but we'd already made friends with one or 2 locals, and got a great response when we walked by, and got 'dragged' in. A noisy but fun night...and the night after a cake battle was going on to celebrate the end of the 'colour' run.
More importantly we met some UK people who'd been living in Italy for 15 years, and learnt more about the area and where/how to go in 15 minutes, than in the 5 days previously. A simple beer bar is all. Good atmosphere etc.
