We spent a fortnight at this hotel in late August early September. We arrived at 9:30 p.m. and were quickly attended to shown to our room and to our surprise were told dinner had been kept for us. Lovely room and balcony. We were on a half board basis which is not something we would normally do but this was well worth it the evening meal offered was excellent antipasto buffet followed by either soup or a pasta course a choice of three each day which was the same for the main course. There was a desert to follow. The food was not repetitive and was varied. The staff were extremely courteous, and friendly offering advice when asked regarding any matter. The small town of Sant'Agata offers some nice places to enjoy a meal or just a coffee and a drink. We would highly recommend this hotel and most certainly feel that we could stay again with the most minimal of persuasion. Thanks to the staff for making our stay so pleasant and memorable.
We are a family of three and stayed in the Sant' Agata as the second part of our holiday in the Bay of Naples. The Sant' Agata is a relatively small hotel located in a busy village of the same name in the Massa Lubrense area above Sorrento. It is family owned and run, everyone is extremely friendly and helpful and you feel you are a welcome guest. The rooms are bright and airy and despite being the peak season there was always plenty of space by the pool. As the restaurant is fairly small you select your evening meal at breakfast - there was always lots of choice for each of the four courses, the menu changes and the food was extremely good with personal service, my wife is a vegetarian and had no problems at all. As the hotel is in the village it does not have large gardens and it is best to keep the windows closed at night to keep out the traffic noise, no problem with good air con. There are some good walks from the village but to make the most of the area you need to get the local bus into Sorrento (frequent and cheap) and explore further afield from there. The busses stop by the Circumvesuviana station so you can easily get the train to Pompeii or Herculaneum or even into Naples.
Lovely smart hotel. Kept very clean. All staff friendly and attentive.
Sant'Agata village is quite small but has places to eat and drink and shop. Watch out for siesta closures plus Mondays, plus some also close Wednesday too!
Hotel well situated for excursion pickups and local buses.
Food OK, would have liked more choices for evening meals.
Me & my boyfriend just returned home from a 7 night stay here. The hotel was beautiful, very clean (the pool was spotless), breakfast was a good selection, staff were very helpful. Thank you to the receptionist who made us a table reservation in Positano with the best view going! Perfect place to stay if you want to explore Sorrento, Positano, Capri, Ravello etc
Would definitely stay again - loved it.
When we arrived at this hotel we were greeted by friendly staff the room was great and was clean with good views overlooking the pool. It is a great hotel well worth a visit if you are in the area. The staff are so helpful and polite nothing is a trouble to them,The food in my opinion is very good.We were there to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and what a great time we had, the management even gave us a bottle of prosecco. This is one hotel I will definitely go back to if we ever visit again. Many thanks to the staff and management for there wonderful hospitality
