We liked the rooms and the garden which is very nice and quiet during day. Service is very good and Fabio at the beach very nice guy. Hotel could improve service with regard to serve good and drinks at the beach. Small children at breakfast and dinner which made it very noisy some days.
Room really nice - what we did not appreicate much was the music in the garden/bar until 11 p.m. each night.
All in all a nice hotel with excellent food.

Room Tip: we had a garden room with direct access to garden pool and beach which we enjoyed

The resort has great views. For a luxurious hotel, the details matters.. water taps in our junior suite was not working, the gym was in the same hot room as the sauna and massage room - nearly passed out on the treadmill with the heat/humidity and I can only imagine the noise level for anyone trying to enjoy a relaxing massage!

There was no bar food/snacks, with incredibly short dining times and there was no room service after 9:30pm! A double espresso cost 8 euro(!) and a pot of camomile tea in the room cost 21 euro(!!!). Absolute daylight robbery!

Carlo was an exceptional waiter and made our dining experience every night special. But there was a manager the next day who was absolutely arrogant! And then Carlo had to apologise for his behaviour!

All in all, L'Ea Bianca was a nice resort.. but for the luxurious price tag, the experience certainly didn't match the price tag!

We were staying at one of the villas of Ea Bianca. The hotel itself is abit anonymous and in the main part it reminds of one of these convention hotels for companies. The main restaurant room lacks of character, the beach is easily accesible but it is not of the dream beach for which Costa Smeralda is famous. So every day we needed to take the car to reach the famous costa smeralda beaches. Also sun lounges are a bit on the cheap side. The restaurant is good (congrats to the chef) but the half boarding mechanism is not what you would like to have in such a place. The service is not the best one and especially we had few complaints re housekeeping. The charge for room service is hilarious. Something like 25 eur which means that if you order a coke you pay more the for room service charge than for the product itself. parking lot is not enough, spa is not good. It looks unfinished and could be developed much better, pool area is very good but service is the pool can be improved much more. the hotel has good potentiality but needs to reinforce services (not a luxury five stars at all) and refurbished not to look like a hotel from a cheap sea destination. It surely can reach a better status.

I have a very mixed impression of this resort.

Firstly I accidently booked a villa - as when you book on bookings.com it looks like you are booking in the hotel. The resort Villas are not at all 5 star, more like a 3. The beds were not very comfortable. The lounge was worn and in a bad state. There was also a funny smell to the villa like perhaps strong cleaning products combined with mold / musty smell.

We then moved to the hotel. The hotel rooms are really lovely, with comfortable beds and nice clean modern bathrooms.

The best things about this resort are the staff ( very friendly and helpful ) and the restaurant ( great food and service ).

Lesson learned - don't book the Villa!!! only stay in the actual hotel rooms. They are worlds apart in quality. If you stay in the hotel you will really enjoy it this lovely place.

Room Tip: Do not stay in the villas, only stay in the hotel rooms

Rooms are large and clean with balcony's overlooking the bay. Swimming pool is nice and quiet and towels are supplied. Gardens are well maintained and the shingle beach is very close by. Restaurant food was very good and they catered very well for our four year old daughter. One thing to note is that there is a dress code for dinner (no shorts).
