“Cosy comfortable cottage in a beautiful quiet location”

Very cosy and comfortable cottage, warm has underfloor heating, wood burning stove and a really great shower!. We were made very welcome by the family and got a nice welcome pack of Milk, coffee, eggs and some vegetables.

The location is rural in farmland, very quiet and has a working farm (the family live there). The nearest town is Rathfriland where there a number of shops to get supplies and some restaurants for eating out.

“Cosy cottage great for exploring!”

What a wonderful place, cosy and comfortable and a nicely equipped kitchen. Steve and Claire were very welcoming and are very knowledgeable about the area and inspirational in their intention to live more lightly on the earth. Loved the underfloor heating which runs on solar hot water and there's also a cosy wood burner for more chillier times.
Oh, and the view of the Mournes is spectacular. A beautiful, abundant, peaceful place.

“Fantastic cottage in idyllic rural setting, perfect escape from the city.”

This little cottage has been beautifully restored by the owners who live next door on a small farm. Lots of lovely handcrafted touches, very tasteful throughout. Great eco friendly place, and fresh eggs every morning from the chickens! Will be going again.
