Service is great, staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast, too, is a wonderful experience, everything matches the location. The rooms, however, are a little disappointing: wide and comfortable is the space, but furniture is in poor conditions and should be renovated. If you don't need to stay too long, it's a nice experience to enjoy some nights in a monument.

Booked several nights, but only stayed two. Arrived very late (21:00) and rushed to get some dinner. The staff gritted their teeth, but we got a meal. This hotel is located in a historic villa set back from the main road about ¼ mile. A really picturesque place with a lot of history. Rooms are large with both a shower and separate bath. WiFi was good and not an issue. Food at the restaurant was great. I recommend taking whatever the head waiter recommends. Both meals were great, and I didn’t have to really understand the menu. They have good choice of wine and again take the recommendations. Saw an American couple struggling to independently order wine and it made me cringe. Room was clean, but slightly scuffed up. Bed was nice and comfortable. No clocks in room. The property is really large and stately. There was a wedding held there on the weekend, which is pretty common. The walk to any restaurants other than the hotel, is a struggle. Drive the car. Good base of business for us, and pretty close to the Autostrada. Quiet at night and good sleep. Breakfast is nice and outdoor seating is offered. Plenty of off street parking for free.

If you do not need to stay in Milan you can consider this place for your stay, spacious parking where you can always find a place for your car, spacious rooms and bathroom, excellent restaurant with nice choice of italian specialities for both meat and fish lovers, some dishes for vegetarians, wonderful choice of wines and possibility to have some visits to local wineries if one is interested, excellent breakfast but with mainly choice of home made sweets, no fish available, it is a pity. A lot of dry fruits, soia and rise milk are there for you too, if one needs and early breakfast, it will be simple but it is there even at 5.30 am. Water in minibar is free of charge and you have a nice garten where you can enjoy a drink or a cup of coffee at every time of a day. Some minor drawbacks are there, but they are not so important. The structure has an elevator and even if there are generally some marriages during the weekend it does not disturb so much when you are in your room. Beds could be more confortable. However nice compromise - price/services.

Staff was excellent
Very friendly and eager to please.
Nicely appointed room.
Fairly comfortable bed (for europe)
Breakfast was great with a choice to sit in a pretty courtyard.
GPS will take you to the back entrance of the palace which the staff has tried to have changed. Go around to the main SS road on front. Cannot miss the entrance. Its an authentic palace entrance.

Historical hotel in a 300 year old villa/property. You enter central by an alley with amazing view of the property and the hills situated behind.
Inside proper maintained in historical style. Rooms big with wooden furniture. Breakfast excellent. Possible to do walking and hike right near the hotel.
