We stayed in Patrizia's apartment in September where it was a little quieter and end of season. The apartment itself was clean and tidy, and although quite small, it had everything we needed for a weeks stay - towels, bedding, hot shower, internet etc etc. We stayed in a couple of nights and cooked our own food and ate outside on the balcony which was lovely!
It is literally 5 minutes walking distance to the town centre where there are some bars and lots of restaurants, supermarkets and everything you would need really. I would say it was about 215 - 20 minutes walk to the nearest beach - depending on which route you took (La Cinta beach), which was ok - a long beach so lots of space, but there are also far more beautiful beaches if you take the time out to travel to them by car and lots accessible within a half hour car journey.
The island it really beautiful and the people are lovely, and we will definitely be going back.
Patrizia was really helpful with answering questions prior to our arrival, and arranged a taxi pick up for us from the airport through the agency that manages the apartment - who were also really nice and helpful throughout our stay and even gave us taxi rides to the beaches!
All in all a fantastic holiday and we will be visiting Sardinia again!More
