The food was ok, but we were served by the rudest waiter I have ever come across which completely spoiled the evening

A bit back from the front in a small street just of the main drag this place does look a bit more like an old style Spanish restaurant. They specialise in meat mainly and we went for the suckling pig because it is more or less unavailable in the UK and it was recommended to us. The stting looks the part with rustic tool decorations, Starters are OK much on a par with other places, the piglet was just what we were looking for, crispy with a little light gravy some dauphinoise potato and a small skewer of mushroom, peppers etc. We visited them again on the strength of this, the pig was fine again but it came with chips, not quite as nice. Desserts again fairly typical.

The most popular dishes are suckling pig and lamb. Rabbit is a bit dry. Goat is ok but better in Fuerteventura. Very popular and have quite a few regulars. Ee were there 4 times in 7 days.

We went with high expectations. On entering you feel as if you're in a country restaurant. Nothing wrong with that. Playing Purple Rain over the speakers . Again another tick. However! I had the suckling pig which was nice although dauphinoise was overcooked. Burnt bottom! Wife had lamb with mint sauce which sounds ideal. However, lamb was overcooked and no sauce (apart from mint sauce) so very dry. For both of us vegetables were a tomato, a mushroom, a piece of pepper, and apiece of squash on a wooden skewer. All a bit random and not particularly in keeping with meat we were eating. Friendly enough though.
