On arrival at Puerto Chico we called here with family and had a wonderful meal. The waiters spoilt our 2 young grandchildren so much so that any time we passed they did high 5's with them. They were wonderful and clearly demonstrated the Spanish love of children. The food we had was up to the high standard as usual. Try the deep fried baby squid as starter and the seabass El volcan. Will definitely return.

We went to this restaurant for an evening meal on 2 occasions. Each time we were served by fantastic staff who made us feel more than welcome. The first visit we had lobster paella which was served about 40 minutes after we ordered it, this is pretty standard when it is cooked from fresh. Other comments about the time they took to get served are possibly due to the fact that it wasn't served quick enough, if this is the case stay at the fast food joints.
Our second visit we had the seafood paella, which was again served to perfection.
If you like your food freshly cooked and are prepared to wait the time it takes this us for you.
We would go again if we return to playa blanca.

Nice selection of reasonably priced tapas. Very friendly staff. Complementary drink at the end of the meal.

We returned to this restaurant on our first evening in Lanzarote after exactly a year. Last year, I shared a rather small paella for two that we had to wait a while for. In retrospect, I could have eaten both portions myself. This time, deciding against the paella, I chose the fish. You can't really make a fish look beautiful when it's opened out on the plate and still has its head on and bones in it but they tried their best with some flavoursome sauce and it was tasty nonetheless, and there was plenty of it to satisfy my post-flight hunger.
My husband enjoyed his chicken stroganoff too. The meal was finished off with a complimentary Baileys or Ron Miel and the ladies were presented with an unnecessary and rather ugly Lanzarote souvenir fridge magnet. A nice thought, but really, the restaurant should save the money and spend it on doing up the place a bit instead.
