In the middle of this area of wonderful woods, De Stoppelberg is a place to discover! Very quiet (although in the night some close highway can be heard), nice breakfast, rooms very clean, and, best of all, the help and warmth of the family that leads it.

Stayed here for a five day school trip with a group of 30 pupils (eleven and twelve year olds). It was a fantastic experience! The owners went out of their way to accommodate us and the food was superb! Also, the location is great and the facilities are very clean, comfortable and spacious. The hotel is in easy reach of many interesting places to visit in the Netherlands. I would highly recommend this hotel for school trips!

Nice hotel situated about 2 kilometres south of Beekbergen. Hotel is divided in three buildings, two rooms and one restaurant. Rooms are different, but absolutely have what you need. Breakfast and dinner are served in the restaurant-building, where you can also enjoy an aperitif or a glass after dinner.
The hotel is clean and staff kind and helpful. Owners are part of the daily service and do their utmost to please their guests
I would choose de Stoppelberg again anytime!!

It was the worst hotel I"ve ever visited. The room was very small, just few furniture. We heard every sound from the neighbouring rooms and from the hall, so we couldn"t sleep.The breakfast was very poor, only some bread, one kind of cheese and few kinds of ham, no eggs, no butter, no yogurt and jam. I don"t recommend this hotel.
This was not my first choice for a hotel as I was looking for something closer to Oosterbeek, however even nine months before my trip everything was booked solid. I could find only two faults with this establishment, 1/ It was poorly signposted and we spent nearly half an hour driving round looking for it (even with a Sat Nav). 2/ Parking was limited and there was no provision for the disabled.
Apart from this we found the Hotel to be excellent. It was clean, the rooms bright and airy, the staff friendly and very helpful. The hotel is situated in a very quiet forested area, ideal for a good nights rest. The continental breakfast was by far the best I've had at any establishment.
Travelling to our destination sites was very easy due to the excellent road system and any one of our proposed stops was within a half hours drive. Overall I would recommend De Stoppelberg to anyone and will return myself health permitting.
