We booked a suite, nice room. But …It would have been nice if the bathroom was stocked not just soap end body lotion. I requested a shower cap, not to be had! No welcome bottle of water no amenities at all,
No mirror in the toilet, no additional toilet in the bathroom. The coffee is not very good, this is not what you expect when you book a (expensive) suite.

Unfortunately we can't provide any amenities such as showercaps and small bodylotions in the rooms, since de government prohibited plastic consumables like these. However we do have some showercaps left at the reception. Feel free to ask in case you're visiting us again. Since the first of january this year we've partnered up with Marie Stella Maris, this brand (shampoo and showergel) you can find in every bathroom.

Fantastic stay and perfect getaway! Don’t miss this gem if you’re travelling across Netherlands by car. Rent a bike, enjoy the surroundings and fresh air, book a massage and certainly check out the restaurant!
Our family weekend at The Holtweijde was an unforgettable experience. The rooms were perfect, the food excellent, the facilities excellent as well, the gardens beautiful and well kept etc etc. But most importantly: the staff were very friendly and did all it could do to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a 2-night stay at Landgoed de Holtweijde and we loved it!
We stayed in a Landhuis Suite - we loved the look & vibe of the little houses, and the room had everything we could have wanted - including a great view over the field & cows!
The saunas & pool were great to have available - unfortunately they had no availability for massages, so definitely book in advance.
The restaurant was lovely (we only dined there 1 evening as the first evening there was no availability) - we had the 3 course daily menu with wine pairing and enjoyed it.
The staff (from reception to restaurant team & housekeeping) were friendly and very helpful - a pleasure to interact with.
Definitely considering coming back for our next anniversary!

Last week I had a lovely business day that was organised by my company. It was such a beautiful place for team building and also talking a bit work because during breaks like lunch, drinks and dinner you automatically relax due to the lovely and relaxing vibe and being in the middel of nature. I would definitely go for a personal trip as well
