A very nice atmosphere , very well presented food at a sensible price.
The service was friendly and efficient and nobody kept coming over to ask if we were okay, which I like. I had Pigeon to start and lamb three ways for main and cheese board to finish, which I must say was a nice portion. This was washed down with a bottle of Chianti, which was beautifully conditioned and very reasonably priced. We had a very nice table and could have happily stayed longer and chatted as we felt so comfortable. My only concern was that they had forgotten to put the wine on the bill which was £39. I informed the waitress and she apologised and corrected it for me. I see mistakes quite often when we go out and it makes me wonder how often if not daily these mistakes occur at all restaurants etc. Anyway we will definitely be returning, next time I think the Emmerdale Farm steak will be a contender!
