This agriturismo is located on the north of Rome not far from the airport, but it is in a natural wooded environment, which is lovely. The rooms are a good size, comfortable and very clean. The owners were friendly.
This was our first time staying in an agriturismo and we decided to take half board as we had heard so much about how good the food was in agriturismo, usually made from fresh local produce and highlighting the local specialties. In this we were very disappointed. While the food was certainly plentiful, it was not only ordinary, but also not well cooked. Our antipasta consisted of 'normal' prosciutto and cheese, none of which seemed to be of local origin. Our pasta with so called ragu was more like spaghetti bolognaise (made with normal minced meat) and had no real flavour at all and the main course of pork cooked in the oven was swimming in fat and the accompanying potatoes actually burnt. Breakfast was mostly just cake and a some toast but again, all very ordinary.
In summary, if you are looking for a place to stay outside of Rome this place might do, but if you are looking for the 'full' agriturismo experience, including good local food, find somewhere elseMore
