We arrived at the visitor centre having seen all the dams and reservoirs. It was a welcome place for a toilet break, a bit of retail therapy and some decent nosh!
The cakes were exceptionally good and a great accompaniment to an afternoon cuppa! Whilst there we noted the food menu and decided to enjoy a lunch later in our stay. We did that and enjoyed the Panini and Jacket Potato with lovely fillings. Especially as the restaurant overlooks the lovely river.
Coming out of the centre you can turn right over an iron bridge and see Elan Village with some stunning river views and sights if a variety of birds - and friendly sheep!
