We stayed a week in the cabin. It has bedrooms with a bath in the middle and a open living room and kitchen.
Beds are comfortable and "Familybed" with a 120-140cm dobblebed under and a single bunkbed 90 cm on top. There are linens and towels to rent .
The kitchen is fully equipped for 6 persons, there is a stove with ceramic top, cutlery and utensils and cookware , a microwave , dishwasher,a drip-coffee maker and fridge.
Nice kitchen table and chars, nice L-shaped sofa also good for sleeping, and nice flatscreen tv mounted on a swinging bar on the wall. Outside the is a half roofed deck with table and chairs. Nice black-out curtains. Its clean and fully functional, and staff at the hotel is very helpful.

We also stayed a few night in the Hotel, newly upgraded with new matresses and nice big beds , clean and nice. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, you can also request meal, very accommodating regarding allergies.
You can rent clubs for golfing.
There is a shop about 500 meters away to the left on the road. As well as a shopping center, groceries and a Vinmonopolet( strong beer, wine and liqour) about 900m to right.

We stayed for one night at one of the wooden cabins on the Camping. The fee was 850 NOK per night. The Equipment in the cabin was perfect: great clean Windows with well done curtains for privacy, nice kitchen with ceran cooking field and a beautiful dining place. Big sofa with satellite TV (flat Screen). The bath was high quality and the bedrooms very cosy. We had a fine evening at nice weather and a quiet night. The facilities are nearby the historic center of Frederikstad gamlebyen - beatiful!
For a tent it is not a suitable place because the meadow is very wet - nearly a swamp - when it is raining. Nearby street causes a lot of noise, which you will hear during the wohle night in your tent.
All in all a good location. Dietmar and Cornelia from Germany, August 2015

We stayed here for one night in july 2015, and chose this one because of its location and price (550,- nok p night) The rooms were small but big enough, clean and totally ok.
You have to share bathroom and toilets with the other rooms, but they were clean, so it was ok.
Old town of Fredrikstad was just a 5 minute walk away, perfect location.

Excellent service, courteous staff, warm atmosphere, good quality and cleanliness! I can not understand the negative reviews. Best price for Norway. Reasonable value for money. I would recommend this hotel with good conscience for all who are in transit.

We stayed in a cabin, which is a small hut with two sleeping rooms, a bathroom, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. NOK 1250 for a night this was good value for money (staying one night). The cabin was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Rooms are supposed to have beds for three persons, but the double bed is actually pretty small for two adults. The location is excellent for visiting the historic city, but probably not for the new center (which we didn't visit). Communication and the information on the Norwegian-only website are pretty poor, so we only learnt upon arrival that we had to pay for bedlinnen and towels (NOK 60, if I remember correctly) and for the optional final cleaning (NOK 200). WiFi access is free but you need to ask for a code at the reception.
