Myself and a girlfriend visited here last Saturday and we ordered 2 pints of lager and 2 supposedly hot pork sandwiches, together with roast potatoes.
When they arrived, neither sandwich was hot and the roast potatoes comprised of 3 halves each and a small pot of gravy. Total cost £22 We shall not be going there again.

Friendly staff & nice atmosphere. However, I ordered the lasagne at £10.99. The portion size was so small that I asked twice if it was not the 'mini' portion also on offer. The slice was around 2" x 4.5" and as such was, in my view, very expensive for a bar meal.

The food was absolutely fabulous, I had the fish & chips & mushy peas, the fish & batter was mouth watering, my wife had the Stilton & broccoli quiche which she said was "The best she had ever tasted" Thanks to all the people at The Robin Hood Inn for a great experience.

A lovely traditionally laid out pub with a good surrounding. Met a friend here for a light lunch and was lucky enough to be able to sit outside in the sun, beautiful views of Derbyshire at all angles and easily accessed from Chesterfield.
However, being a vegetarian there was not much choice but opted for a cheese sandwich and side portion of chips; the sandwich was a typical breadcake which was dry with a few slices of cheddar on, side salad was fine as were the chips but definitely could have done this myself for more cheaper! It then took nearly 2 hours after we had finished eating for the table to be cleared even though the pub wasn't busy. Having said that the staff were reasonably friendly and quick to serve and take orders at the bar. Would return fr drinks but not food.
