Visited in early March 2018. Beach stunning. Sea was warm for March. We took a picnic and sat and watched the gulls diving for fish.

We had driven up to Costa Calma in searh of the start of a walk across the peninsula to the west coast - but the new highway seemed to have put a barrier in our way. Instead we used our four wheel drive to explore several tracks / roads down to the beach. Once you get away / beyond the beaches nearest the car-parks and facilities for the windsurfing and kite surfing there are miles of sandy beaches to explore. Watch out for the "not so pretty" nude sunbathers wandering along - but hey good luck to them. Find a place as "out of the wind as possible" and enjoy the sound of the crashing waves. Taking some sort of picnic and plenty of water (not too much wine) and just enjoy the scene.

Stunning beach. Nice to see sand in the Caneries. Lovely lighthouse at the end and sweet little village.
