Read about here on Tripadvisor given great reviews, walked in as it was empty. Ordered Scallops mini burgers and sirlion all very good and priced reasonably, however not 5 star compared to other restaurants. Worth a visit as it is different you may love it.

We had passed this a few times and it was on our list.

While a bit lost what restaurant to choose that night as it was my birthday and the place we wanted to go to was shut and couldn't decide what to do and hadn't booked anything so on the off chance we popped in here.

Fantastic meal. Very relaxed and just order a variety of dishes and eat when they arrive. It's fresh and just cooked so don't wait for the other dishes.

Very tasty and we went for 2 dishes to share for a starters of the Gorgonzola croquettes and poached eggs with sweet bread. Wow!

Two "mains", our octopus was so soft. We shared the steak medallions.

Dessert was the chocolate pudding and delicious.

All the staff were friendly, very polite and wanted you to enjoy the food.

Thank you! Perfect!

Another evening well spent. The owner is ever present, making recommendations and explaining where the dish has come from. We had some amazing dishes, however there was one stand out.... the tuna was second to none, with a wasabi mayonnaise that was not to hot and soy sauce that was not to salty. If I was not running out of days I would be back. If you are not in a rush, happy to take your food as it comes then this is a fantastic restaurant. Eat like a local, enjoy your company and have a great evening.

Whilst staying at the Grand Teguise, we fancied a change from the routine and spotted La Gula with a high TripAdvisor rating.
The first visit was amazing. Fantastic food, brilliant service, friendly staff, very nice setting. What's really nice is that you can order different meals and have them served one at a time (to share) so you can really savour the flavour.
It was so good we went back a second time. We tried a few more adventurous things (e.g. foamed potato with quails egg and chorizo- amazing). Portions aren't enormous but you will have a very high quality meal and be full by the time you leave.
I won't rave any more other than say - Avoid the many "bar food" restaurants in the square and give it a go.
