Came here with my partner twice during our visit to Lanzerote. No word can accurately describe the experience except transcendent.
The decor is cozy and warm, seemingly separate from the other places around.
The service is exceptional, similar to some of the higher end places in London.
Quick & efficient without being intrusive, with the specials being explained upon being given the menus. Friendly staff & a chef that comes to check on the customers personally. Booked a 2nd night here, gentlemen reserved our same table & remembered the wine we ordered.
Was given complementary nibbles, a chilled shot of a refreshing leek soup & some cracker type biscuits with a dip that I'm gonna try to make at home (so good)
The food was deserving of a Michelin star.
1st night: foie gras, (rich, perfect with the figs & BlackBerry jam) Goats cheese, (full of flavour, large portion) Duck breast special x2 juicy duck crispy skin & amazing taste) Cheesecake, (light & fluffy) Lemon Posset, (cool & creamy)
2nd night: Garlic prawns, (light & delicate) Mussel risotto special, (creamy risotto & perfectly cooked mussels. Special Beef in filo pastry with Guinness sauce, (pastry was perfectly crispy, beef melt in the mouth & sauce wonderful. Pork belly with Apple sauce, (crackling was OMG, pork was falling apart & Apple sauce had great flavour. Orage chocolate mouse, (light yet rich) Cheesecake again.
Expect to spend €80 - €90 on 3 course with water, wine & coffee.
Honestly, if I could have tipped more than €24 for both night's I would have.
Coming back in 2019.
Don't come to Costa Teguise without trying at least a main course, you won't regret it.
