My wife and I had the most wonderful meal at La Tabla last night.
Set in a lovely intimate square with a couple of other nice eateries the meal felt very romantic.

The incredibly busy but still extremely attentive waitress was so helpful and friendly, rather than a standard menu she shows you the 30 dishes available and we picked our fave 7 dishes.

Although the dishes look small they were so delicious, every single mouthful was perfection and we had pork loin, potatoes in cheese, ham croquettes, a fresh chorizo, spanish omelette, calamari and Parmesan spinach, wow!

Then the added bonus was the bill, we expected it to be about 70euros but with prosecco and beer added in the meal came to approximately 30euros so we left a hearty and well deserved tip.

If you are looking for tapas done the right way then I cannot stress enough, this is the place!

This is a little gem, not easy to find but worth seeking it out.It gets busy with reservations so I'd recommend finding it first and booking for bother day.
We picked a selection of tapas dishes from the disparate, all proved spot on.
Service was excellent, friendly, attentive, fast and efficient.
One of the best desserts I'd ever had.
Would definitely recommend a visit.

It was the best tapas we had on our holiday. The food was delicious. The tapas choice is fantastic. Excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We decided to order the trio of desserts to finish- not realising it was three full sized desserts! We ate every bit of them, they were all very tasty.
I'd recommend booking a table during peak season.
I would definitely return.

We visited La tabla tonight with our 2 children. If your children don't like to try new food or are fussy I wouldn't suggest taking them. There is no menu for drinks or tapas/grill mains although you can view the price and choice of grill choices on the blackboard. The waitresses are very friendly and welcoming and I suggest you book as it gets busy. There is a blackboard outside with their telephone number and you can what's app them or ring them to book as the restaurant is only open mon-fri 7pm-11pm. You go up to the small kitchen area to view the selection of tapas and you are advised to order around 7 dishes for 2 adults. We ordered 9 dishes to share with the children and this included chicken curry, Canarian potatoes, chorizo in brandy sauce, prawns, potatoes and cheese, tuna parcels and ham croquettes. Bread is given to you before the tapas arrives. The food arrives quickly and hot. You can order more if necessary but we were full after the dishes. It would have been nice if they could have offered a meatball dish or lamb stew as these are our favourites however the dishes we had were lovely. Following the meal we ordered a warm chocolate brownie and ice cream for our children to share. We had the tapas, bread, dessert, 1/2 litre of sangria, 2 large beers and 1 Fanta orange and coke and it came to €41.20 which was excellent value for money. We also enjoyed a honey rum on the house! This is a great little authentic tapas bar, a great find and worth the booking.
