We booked a last minute get away, we had a fantastic deal so we were expecting 5* luxury but we're expecting a little better than this.
The hotel is built Into a huge hill, when the side gate entrances to the street weren't open it was a nightmare walking up such a steep hill with a pushchair (our apartment was at the bottom of the hill, reception and main entrance at the top)
Overall the room was good, beds were slightly uncomfortable (my partner suffered more than me and had back pain all week) the travel for we received didn't have a proper mattress in so we had to fold the extra sheets up for it.
Little things like broken window (we had bars covering ours luckily) broken tv remote, broken chair on the balcony were a tadge annoying.
Pool area was a great size, a few different pools to choose from and a baby swimming pool great for the kids. No entertainment on in the day which I found highly strange and disappointing, we made our own fun though. There was quite a few broken things around the pool, tiles, safety chains, beds, flaky paint in the pool and parasols etc but other than that it was relatively clean.
The drains absolutely stench, anywhere there. When your sat round the pool or trying to have a bath.
The one restaurant that there was, was ok, it's not controlled properly, not air conditioned and it's ridden with flies, the food quality wasok, pretty much the same every day and only luke warm.
Breakfast was the worst, how anyone could eat that more than a couple of days in a row is beyond me. No change up at all.
My biggest problem with the hotel was the lunchtime snacks, everyday 12-1 and 3-4 theres some hot food snacks - everyday hotdogs or burgers and chicken nuggets with chips.
On one occasion I missed the earlier one by about 15 minutes, as the plastic plates are left out all day I thought I'd grab one and pop into the big restaurant to get my little girl some chips for a little snack to eat back at the subbed . I grabbed a couple of chips on a plate to be tapped by a waiter, have my plate taken off me and told to get out of the restaurant as 'dis no allowed'
I can not fathom why I was told this after I had saw numerous people do the exact same thing and still the whole holiday I saw people do it. It really got my back up
Alas I love Tenerife I'll go back but I wouldn't stay here.
I'd advise people with children not to stay here either, there is much better equipped hotels closer to the beach

Very disappointing . We paid for all inclusive and spent most of our spending money on restaurants the food was very poor quality , Luke warm and limited choices. The actual dining area is far too small for the size of the hotel , it was ridiculous! The pool areas were small and had a very sharp texture on the bottom of the pool .the rooms were of a decent size , very basic and incredibly hard mattresses. There were several reports of money and personal possessions being stolen from some rooms , safety deposit boxes were available at a high price. Staff were pleasant but I would def NOT stay here again .

Just back from 2 weeks at Granada park. I will admit that I was concerned about the quality of the resort given some of the comments on here but for a 3 star complex I think it was very good. My only reason for dropping a star came down to the quality of the beds (they are rock solid), flies in the eating areas (I will get to that) and no air conditioning in rooms (but for a 3 star that's just one of these things).

The staff on resort are fantastic, they cannot do enough to make sure you have an excellent holiday. I did have a slight complaint about my room on arrival and Anna at reception couldn't do enough to resolve the issue for me. I had a maintenance man round within 10 minutes, followed by a cleaner and Anna still offered an alternative room. All the staff on site are friendly and helpful and are a credit to their employer.

The accommodation itself is ok, a little tired in places and they still use CRT (google it if you're a youngster) TV's. Though this did get changed on request to keep my kids happy_ so another plus point on service.

The food was my real concern given previous reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised. Week 1 was fantastic, great choice of food and tasty. I did encounter the odd fly on week 1 but not that big an issue. Week 2 same food, but more flies! They are a pain in the neck and I would suggest they do install fly catchers!!

Drinks - good selection of drinks as far as I'm concerned. I'm not on a family holiday to go on mad benders so free drinks between 11am & 11pm are more than enough for me.

All in all we had a great time and I feel this is fair feedback. I will be happy to go back and will likely return next summer.

Usually I like to give holiday resorts the benefit of the doubt but in this case I'm not, although I have been in a worse place but only just.
Ok! Let's go, the pools were an adequate size but a bit gungy as I trod on few discard beakers and plasters in the pool but other than that not bad.
The apartment was nice and clean, good size rooms but the two beds were rock hard so would suggest putting spare blankets on mattress, didn't think of that til it was too late.
I had one altercation with a cockroach but he was a one off I think and didn't last under my size 8.
The place is built on a hill so getting around maybe difficult if you're a little unfit, although accessible everywhere with ramps for chairs on wheels.
Reception was clean, all that was missing was a smile from the staff, they're a bit snappy, I'm not talking about their dress sense.
Facilities, they are tired, not maintained, crazy golf is not so crazy but more a bit slightly mad, as it's not been looked after just left to get wrecked, nice dart board no darts.
NO CHILDRENS CLUB NO ENTERTAINMENT DURING THE DAY FOR NIPPERS didn't know this before we booked or would've looked elsewhere.
Evening entertainment before main events very poor, main events, some were ok, others were good, however, if you have a stage area that's looks a cross between a boxing ring and a chip board partition you're not going to get any quality coming from the acts, I felt so sort for these entertainers trying to make the best of rubbish stage area.
The Michael Jackson tribute and the dancing gymnasts didn't have the room to swing a cat.
COME ON GRANADA PARK GIVE THESE ENTERTAINERS A DECENT STAGE AREA OR DONT BOTHER AT ALL YOU'RE LETTING THESE PEOPLE DOWN.
Now the food and hygiene, holy cow, how are you getting away with not controlling the flies that are buzzing around the food, cutlery, cups, tables etc etc I could go on.
The restaurant is infested with flies, we wondered why we were feeling so ill as we were quite successful in batting most of these horrible little dirty things away, but of course they'd already crawled all over the tables before we sat down, Granada Park you seriously need to sort that problem out there was 4 adults and 1 little lad, all four of us were sick at one point in our time there and the only reason my boy wasn't was because he ate McNuggets most of the time or ice cream and yogurts.
Disgusting to say the least sort it out!!!

We went out to Loro Park, that was ok for my little boy and he was the only reason I went, I'm not a great person to be there because I think animals shouldn't be caged but I won't go getting on my high horse over this subject, the place was nice and the animals looked healthy.

Went up the Tiedi Volcano 🌋 one suggestion is to get up there early if you want to go up in the cable car, I asked the guide and they said between 9and 10 is the best time, once the pre booked coaches get up there you're looking at a 3 to 4 hour wait to go up.

I won't be going back to Tenerife, it's the second time I've been there and the first time our apartment was broken in to, so two visits both disappointing.

Sorry to be a rubbish review but it's an honest one.
Good luck M
