We had the misfortune to stay at this hotel during our visit to Dwarka. The only saving grace was, it was for one night only. This hotel is in desperate need of a total refurb, its dirty and ridden with insects. We stayed in what was the suite for 2000RS, the room looked fine but on closer inspection it was dirty and the bathroom has many tiny insects crawling about. The bath tub was filthy and had brown water coming out the taps. They said there was 24 hours hot water, well not when we tried!! The toilet flush didn't work properly and no toilet paper was supplied. The sink and general condition was dirty. I got bitten badly by some crawling insect at night which caused a big red rash. In the morning we went to the restaurant and were handed a menu. Upon deciding what to have, we were told there were only two items on. So why waste our time giving menues? The restaurant didn't look clean and the tables were dirty. I'd never stay here and I highly recommend no one else does. They require you to pay in advance. I told management in the morning of my views and like most Indian businessmen, couldn't care less as he had our money. Upon our travels in Dwaka, I came across Hotel Damji, (google it, there is a web site) which I visited and the rooms are a million time better than city Palace and the room rate is comparable. Next time I'll stay at Hotel Damji
