This is a large, comfortable villa near Bagneres de Bigorre. We stayed for two weeks as a family party, during L'Etape du Tour and the actual Tour de France. The Villa is well furnished and well equipped. A minor feature that I appreciated was that there was plenty of cutlery and crockery. You didn't have to wash a glass or cup every time you wanted a drink. The private tennis court was good, and the swimming pool was inviting. The children also made good use of the basement games room with its ping pong table.
It was essential to have a car (or two cars). The villa is about 3km from Bagneres along an fairly busy road without a pavement. It is about 1km from Pouzac. This latter walk is feasible and we did it to watch the Tour de France. Only the first 300m are on the bad road.
A minor niggle is that lighting in the lounge is too subdued to allow you to read in the evening.
I had not been to the Pyrenees before and the countryside was greener and more beautiful than I expected. The driving distances are significant, for instance nearly 2 hours to the Cirque de Gavarnie, often on spectacular but winding roads.
