Interesting family house filled with history, style, class, and antiques. The house is clean and well kept and one is free to roam around. The audio guide and video provide good information. Worth a visit if you are in Georgetown.

This is a chinese immigrant who came to malaya worked his guts out to become a millionaire. He is a well know philantrophist in penang. You will be taken on an audio tour of his house showing his early livelyhood in malaya and how he worked his way to become a millionaire. these are a few of the early people who helped to develop penang to what it is today. A truly malaysian.

I like the audio thingy they gave for the visit. Each section will have audio explanation and make the tour more informative instead of just looking at photos.

Things inside are well maintained. And the place is very clean.

One of the richest personalities in Penang, Yeap Chor Ee was a Chinese immigrant from rags to riches fame. Filled with antiques and Peranakan furniture, this four-storey shophouse is now a museum and open to the public. Some interesting items on exhibit include the 1920's passport of a Chinese national and a Chinese Immigrant infographic panel. There is an admission charge of RM12. Worth a visit if you are in the heritage area of Georgetown.

Haven't heard about this place before, as well never heard about his name, turns out he was the founder of OCBC bank, one of the richest man of his time. He also very close to one of Indonesia's richest man, that was trading sugar. Found this place by mistake after exploring pinang peranakan house, as the place is nearby, around 5 minutes walk.the house considered small but beautiful with western touch that makes it different with other house such as peranakan house and blue mansion. The audio tour included with 12RM entrance fee, with additional 6RM you can enjoy the tea or coffee at threaded behind the house.

The house equipped with video providing early life of Mr. Yeap as well as early immigrants, further it explores his life, some interview with his employee and his son's life.
