We were only the two of us on this tour but this made it very personal. Mark is a great guide who talks about food because he loves it. He is really dedicated to what he does. But he also knows a lot about the history of Georgetown and Penang and even about complete southwest region. We learned a lot. You can ask him everything, all subjects are discussable which gives a total look on how life is lived in Georgetown.
We tasted very good dishes,Indian vegetarian, Indian halal and Chinese food. Mark asks about food allergies, how much you can eat and he orders special drinks as well. At the end of the tour you can choose if you want to go to a quiet, nice bar or back to the hotel.
We can definitely recommend this tour if you like to learn more about food and history in Penang.
