Excellent location. Immaculately clean. Quiet but very convenient location. Immediately adjacent to the beach. Staff professional and multi-lingual. Am recommending to friends who will be visiting the area in February.

This hotel was a real find. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The staff were professional and helpful. The breakfast was really lovely. The parking was easy. There were bars and restaurants within walking distance

Dear NewportBabs,

Thank you for your kind words. It makes us very happy knowing that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel. Now in low season there is no problem in parking at the street, but during the high season, we offer free parking at our adjacent building for all our clients.

Best regards,

Beautiful hotel right by the beach. Great location.
Very helpful staff.
Only issue is that the restaurant/ bar is closed after the summer. Hard to get a drink to enjoy the patio and gardens in the off season. On a nice evening, when we wanted to have a drink on the patio, the front desk clerk opened the bar and made us drinks. Was most appreciated.

We had a room overlooking the car park but that didn't matter because the rooms on that side look out to the wooded cliff side which was lovely plus we had a side view to the sea. The room (201) was fresh, clean and comfy. It had two windows, one huge one facing the front of the building and one to the side, so it was filled with light. The breakfast was lovely, lots of fruit, hams cheeses, yoghurt, breads, jams. Cooked breakfast can be requested and are made fresh for you. The staff were friendly and helpful and the coffee was excellent. The building has lots of character and is right on the sea front with only a pedestrianised prom between the hotel and the beach. Wifi was excellent.
However, it is difficult to find this hotel. It is the third building along a very long one way street. If you miss it you have to go at least a mile to get back round to it. It has a circular driveway/car park in front but this is just for loading and unloading. The gateway looks frighteningly small but you can get in with care. We missed the hotel entrance the first time, and on the second circuit found it but were intimidated by the narrow entrance way. We then realised that on the opposite side of the road, the left side as you drive down and just a few yards further on, is the sister Rosario hotel. This modern glass building houses parking for both the hotels. So turn left into their gate way and keep left, there is underground car parking. That sister hotel entrance is immediately after the school/college grounds end.
There are steps up to the entrance to the hotel which is not helpful if you have heavy cases. Plus the dining room is attached to the hotel but in a separate building so you have to actually leave the hotel and go round the side to get there. It is only open for breakfast and there is no bar or tea/coffee making facility except in the dining room. The location is lovely but we had quite a walk to eat at night because you have to walk along a busy main road, with a narrow pavement as you cross over the bridge into the town.

Lovely hotel right on the front and we have a lovely sea view from the room. Comfortable and spacious good size bathroom too! Even a pillow menu lovely promenade had a good walk as not enough sun to sunbathe but would love to come back when it's hot!!!
