You’ll easily spot this unassuming café, it's the one with the queue outside, no need for touts here. We went early just to avoid queuing as this place is immensely popular, but they do have a system and it is worth the wait. Labelled as a snack bar it is really a full on restuarant with seafood, superb steaks and many other options at reasonable prices. The steak I had was some of the best meat I have ever experienced, an entrecote of great thickness covered in a near perfect Roquefort suace for less than 10 euros. The seafood and tomatoe soups are also recommended. The service was actually good; we had to wait a while for meals even when seated, but we were regularly checked by the friendly staff and kept busy with little complementary plates of tapas. Prices are very good value indeed, even for the high end steak and seafood. Overall, one not to miss.

From the outside doesn't look much but what fantastic food - get there early or be prepared to wait but the wait is worth it.

Maritoni's is a restaurant that you might walk past easily, not realising that it has just about the best food on the strip. The queues outside, waiting for a table for 30 minutes or more are a testament to the high regard that diners have for this restaurant.
Lunch is good there too, and very cheap. We find it harder and harder to get a seat each year, as word of mouth spreads.

It makes me laugh when I see so many so called restaurants rated higher than this one.The queues to get a table tell its own tale. The quality and prices are second to none. Great choice on the menu and the drinks prices are especially low for a restaurant.
The breakfasts are also spot on and at 2.50 euros fantastic value.

Looks nothing special except for the queues! The most unpretentious of places. Excellent food, well presented, nicely cooked. Great prices e.g. 13 Euro for a decent size T-bone. A breath of fresh air these days - no marketing or people outside dragging you in. Give it a go - you won't be disappointed.
