We dined here in August 2017 after checking out the great reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed at all! We made a reservation by email which was very easy and convenient. We had a great table near the front of the restaurant. We were greeted very warmly by the lady host who showed us to our table. She then helped us through the menu and also brought out dishes to show us. She recommended a slow start (just one course each as the portions are quite large). We ordered 6 in the end (2 each which was more than enough!!). Each course came separately giving us time to enjoy each one. We ate our food at a leisurely pace which was a great way to spend the evening. Drinks were reasonably priced and presented well. A great find!

We visited this restaurant in June 17 after it being recommended by friends staying at the resort. My wife and myself visited first and we were so impressed with the food, the wines and in particular the fantastic service by the owners and staff. Everything on the menu was explained fully and if you had any questions or dietary issues they had no problem in assisting with your needs.
We then due to the way everything was so good took our son who was visiting us on the 2nd week, who is going to live and work in Barcelona in September teaching English and he also was very impressed by everything and we were also informed of the many exciting things to do in Lanzarote by the owners due to their wealth of knowledge of the island. The staff and owners made our son very welcome and were keen to talk to him in Spanish and help him with his vocabulary ready for his work in Spain.
We again on a following visit invited friends to come with us who had not tried tapas before and they were amazed at the quality and service also.
We would recommend this place to anyone as it is excellent value for money and a great experience including the impromptu dancing of the staff during the evening.
The restaurant only opens at 6 30 in the evening as it does not need to try to compete for customers in the day with surrounding cheap English type food and it it is well worth booking ahead as it is only small and compact but the experience is fantastic, well done to all concerned including the chef and kitchen staff as all are very passionate about giving you the best possible experience they can.
Carry on the good work all Irana, Alvore and Diana plus the kitchen staff.
We have continued once we arrived back in the UK to tell people who are going to the area that they must not miss out on this restaurant.
Thank you from Karl, Janet and Jordan.

Would give 10 stars if had the option.
Service was excellent, very friendly + helpful.
We weren't sure what to order but the lovely waitress (owner) was very patient + talked us through every dish + helped us pick. She recommended 2-3 tapas at a time + order more when ready.
Food was amazing, all fresh, perfectly balanced flavour + very authentic.
We had 1 dish that we weren't fussed on + this was changed for something else at no cost, not many places do that.
Sangria was home made + really nice.
We had 6 tapas, 2 jugs of sangria, 1 pint, 1 dessert. Total bill came in at about €60-65.
Definitely worth a visit.

We visited this restaurant on our final night in Lanzarote and are so sad we didn't try it sooner so that we could go back a second time. The food was fantastic, the sangria was fantastic and most of all the service was first class. Everyone was so welcoming. We hadn't booked a table but arrived when it opened but did see a lot of people turned away so would advise booking! The ambience was perfect, it almost felt like a date even though we had a small baby with us! We travelled with our 3 month old son so naturally we were quite awkward customers but nothing was too much trouble and all the staff went out of their way to see if there was anything me or my husband needed. Would highly recommend and will not hesitate to return again.

This little gem of a Lanzarote restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel receptionist and having looked at reviews I knew we had to visit.
The place is small and almost every table filled with diners, but has a great atmosphere with two wonderful hostesses (could be mother and daughter) who managed to squeeze us in.
For a reasonable €37, between the two of us had 2 glasses of rojocca and a large sangria, veal which was thinly sliced and covered in a delicious sauce, smoked salmon and the most divine meatballs.....we were so stuffed there was no room for dessert but I'm sure it would not of disappointed. At the end of the meal we had complimentary honey rum with dark chocolate squares. The younger hostess also recommended a good place to go out in arrecife where our hotel was.
If your staying in puerto del Carmen or just visiting it is worth while booking in advance and trying this perfect restaurant for some rustic food. Hope you love it as much as we did!
