Had dinner here the first night of our holiday in March the food was lovely cooked to perfection it was quiet the night we were there but it didn't take from the lovely atmosphere and the décor is outstanding, called again the last night of our holiday after seeing lamb shank on the specials board outside when we walked past earlier that day again a wonderful meal we were served on both occasions by a lovely French waitress unfortunately cannot remember her name complements also to Josef the chef will definitely be dining here again on my next holiday would highly recommend

Quintins is run by an Irish couple so the theme is pretty much catering for the Irish and English market. You need to book in advance, even mid week as it fills up pretty fast, even after they have expanded their floor space. Food options are great, tasty and suits all types, prices are a little on the high side for Del Carmen but close to Irish prices so its worth a trip to treat yourself on a visit to the Port. Will be back here on next trip

Having visited Quintins on our last visit to Puerto del Carmen, we thought we would visit again. Disappointed this visit...average food, inflated prices, lack of attention to detail and little if any atmosphere.

We ate here last night, we had a nice meal, a couple of improvements and it would have been fantastic.

We started with scallops in Serrano ham done in a blue cheese sauce, this was delicious, I was a wee bit worried the sauce would overpower the scallops but it didn’t as it wasn’t a strong blue cheese, the other starter was Thai fish cakes which also were delicious.

The mains were a wee bit disappointing, the fillet steak which was meant to be medium was a bit overdone and had gone a bit dry, this came with a nice sauce and all the trimmings, the other main was duck which was flavoured with orange and ginger, again the duck breast was over cooked, this was also supposed to be cooked medium, however we both felt that both mains were decent enough that we didn’t complain.

We finished with chocolate fondant with caramel ice cream, this was lovely.

All dishes were presented lovely, even though the mains were a tad disappointing we would still return here.

We have been on a previous visit to PDC; after tonight’s meal, we feel this ranks #1 of our favourite places to eat.

A friendly waitress, beautifully presented courses including artisan breads (today mini pizzas) and olives, seafood chowder, seabass, duck and Bailey’s creme brulee - all superb.

It’s a little bit extra a walk uphill for most, beyond the Biosfera, but I promise you won’t be disappointed!
