“Comfortable, clean studio flat with excellent views across PdC Harbour”

It is very well located at the quieter western end, nicely kept studio apartment and we were very comfortable there - great views across the harbour and of the town of Puerto del Carmen. Most amenities are in walking distance. The owner and his manager were very helpful and the weather was kind to us at the end of April/ early May and we enjoyed our first break in PdC/ Lanzarote. Would stay there again!

“fabulous views Lanzarote”

What a great place, Lanzarote itself is amazing. Superb climate, amazing cactus plants & huge succulents. The apartment is a studio with a terrace and great views. Small very clean unheated pool, communal terraces with a range of sun loungers, tables & chairs. Next door is an Irish bar, English tavern plus Marios Italian & spar shop for all your holiday essentials....fresh bread, fruit, salads, beer, sun cream, newspapers etc. A short pleasant stroll down to the harbour with numerous places to eat. Not sure I should give 5 stars as may not be able to book in future. All in all a wonderful holiday.

Thanks for taking the trouble to write a review, so glad you enjoyed your stay, I think I will have to try & devise a system whereby my clients who write a good review get priority booking, because as you say it is a bit self defeating, hmmmm!

“Bring Binoculars!”
Reviewed 31 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

This studio apartment is exactly as described. It is a little basic, but that's reflected in the price. The view over the harbour and out to sea is fantastic and we were glad we brought binoculars as there was always something going on. Because it's on a hill, It's not appropriate for people with mobility problems, but it does keep you fit.

Most importantly, the bed was supremely comfortable and although it looks like a double in the photo, it is in fact king sizes (which was a pleasant surprise). It has a single shower, but it's a walk-in, so does not feel claustrophobic. The apartment was clean and John the manager was helpful. Unfortunately there is no wifi in the apartment, but it is available at the next door restaurant. There are 3 restaurants within 100 mrs of the apartment and we thought that the food at Marios was great and ate there most nights.

“A brilliant place in Lanzarote”

Las Terracitas was a first rate place to stay. The Studio apartment was practical, well looked after and very comfortable. In agreement with other reviews, the view from the balcony was superb, lookind down upon the old harbour
The apartment location in Puerto del Carmen Old Town suited us very well because of the peace and quiet it affords.
The Irish bar next door is very accommodating and has fast and free WiFi.
We have had five holidays on three of the Canary islands, and without doubt, Lanzarote is the most impressive. If you have a hire car and/or are willing to travel around the island you will not be disappointed.Visits to the Timanfaya Volcanic National Park, El Golfo and Jameos del Agua were highlights for us.
The weather at the beginning of January was OK but very windy, making the need for our fleeces essential!
People are so friendly, the atmosphere so relaxed, the food very reasonably priced and of high quality.
All the roads we used were superb and very safe because of the new traffic islands that replaced crossroads.
We loved everything about the place and will certainly visit again!

“Great Holiday!”
Reviewed 7 December 2014 for a stay in November 2014

We have just returned from a week at this apartment (November), finding ourselves between two Atlantic storm systems the weather wasn't great, but we found the sea rolling in at Tenezar & La Santa on the north coast, more than made up for it. Finding it difficult to comprehend one or two of the previous reviews, we were moved to write one ourselves, overall we were pleasantly surprised, finding John the manager very helpfull & the apartment simple, clean, bright & uncluttered, apart from the absence of a radio/cd player, everything else needed was there. The bed was enormous, super king? We found it very comfortable. The views, well, no photo's or description can do them justice, you just have to experience them! In summary, very good value, very pleased, we will definately be returning.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, sorry you were unlucky with the weather, as you say there are many places for spectacular surf on the north coast most of the time, after all it is the surfing capital of the Canaries as it gets the full force of the Atlantic swell. I dare say it being Lanzarote you had some sunshine!
