2 reviews We had a family wedding to go to in Chester so decided to book self catering accommodation instead of spending a long weekend in a hotel room with my 2 year old son, so glad we did! We stayed in the Farmhouse wing which is lovely and cosy but still very spacious, a home from home.We were welcomed with a delicious chocolate cake which i thought was a lovely touch! Kitchen is well equipped, bedrooms very comfortable and large. Ensuite bathrooms in each room. The weather wasn't very kind to us but my son loved jumping in all the muddy puddles, he even played on the trampoline in the rain. Would like to come back and explore the area further as it looked very beautiful but the wedding took a great deal of our weekend.

Stayed for 5 nights in the cottage just off the main farmhouse (can't remember the name) and had a lovely experience. Very cosy and made good use of the log burner. The cottage was great..kitchen and particularly the living room were fab.
The kids loved Sam the dog and now everytime they hear a dog bark they ask if it's Sam!
Great time had by all.

We stayed in the farmhouse wing with two young children, it was a fantastic base for our holiday with all the facilities of home. The rooms were very well maintained and spacious. The whole family were wonderfully friendly and could not be more helpful. The garden was very well equipped with toys for the children to play with. Sally Ann and David were very accomadating with every request we had. We hope to return again in the near future as we enjoyed it so much and have already recommended it to friends and family.
