Went here on recommendation from our holiday rep, but unfortunately won't be returning. Had to be one of the most unfriendly and miserable waitresses we have had the misfortune to encounter. There were nearly as many staff as customers and it still took 15 minutes to get 2 drinks to our table.

La Flaca is definitely the best chill out bar around south Tenerife. Incredible friendly staff, free wifi, incredible and open space, a garden like.....Before hitting a club, the best option to either hang around, or meet cool local people, all around the world workers of the hotels and other bars around. Is the place where the local cool people hang around...is a must

I have been there twice with some friends and both times have been a disappointment.

The place looks nice and cosy but don't get fooled.

The service is slow and rude - on the first visit we had to wait 45 min. before we lost our patience and I went up to the bar to order the drinks. At the bar the bartender told me to go down to my table and wait to be served in a very rude and direct way. we told her our situation and she reluctantly took our orders. When the drinks finally arrived there were no apologies about the wait and the waiter carelessly put the drinks down like we were an annoyance to him and he just wanted to get away. When we had finished our drinks and wanted to go home there was no waiter in sight - I even tried to wave and call when I saw one walking around in the distance, it seemed that there were no coordination between the waiters what so ever. Finally lost my patience again and went up to the bar to get the check I was once again met with a rude and unfriendly response that I needed to ask for the check from a waiter since I didn't know the number of my table then the waiter that served us our drinks told the bartender our table-number and looked at me in a very rude manner.

The second time I went there was because we were meeting some other friends who had chosen La Flaca as the meeting point. The experience was just like the first time - an horrible experience.

My only experience with that restaurant is that their unfriendly reception. In fact, i went there to have dinner while a football match. We found a table for 6 on wich there was something written. While I was trying to read if it was a reservation, a waiter came, so I asked him if the table was reserved, and without answering to my hello, he just said in an unpleasant way, yes and didn't try to find us another table.Of course that kind of behaviour made me leave that place and go to the restaurant nearside Wigan piers where we had the opposite reception. So if u like unpleasant staff go to la Flaca

Very lovely little restaurant/bar directly opposite the hotel we were staying at in costa adeje (Bahia princess)

If I'm being honest me and my boyfriend when we go on holiday we like to find a cozy little cocktail bar with free wifi (when we asked our holiday reps they directed us to the 'wigen pier' which is right next to la flaca) We decided to go for a wander as the wigen pier was a typical English pub! Not really a cozy cocktail bar!!
After a very long walk down the whole of costa adeje we found nowhere, to which we decided to return to our hotel, by which time the cozy little bar la flaca was very busy we decided to pop in. To our surprise they also had free wifi :D
The cocktails are amazing not really expensive at all they are also open for food lunch & tea time the chips are brilliant! They have 2 pool tables and have MTV one a big screen.

All in all it's a must bar if your looking for a nice chilled out atmosphere, the bar staff are very friendly!
One think I don't understand is why our thomas cook holiday reps didn't recommend this place it is so lovely!
