the best thing about this place is location. Top of hills with splendid views. The restaurant can be redone to look better. Sit in the balcony enjoy the view and eat food. There is place children to play.

Room Tip: Cllose suite or A/C rooms for better views

This is a long retrospective review. ..We visited the place way back in 2011. But I felt like writing a review today.
We stayed in Suite 333.. as far as I remember. The view from the private balcony was breathtaking. Not a single obstacle was visible. It was just hills and valley. . As if the world was just being discovered. We went there in the month of December. .. It was very comfortable during the day time. Early mornings and nights were moderately cold. There were two rooms connected by a narrow corridor inside the suite and three standard bathrooms. We stayed there for two nights. Araku valley was only an hour drive from there.
The stay was remarkable for the solitude of the place. I couldn't give a 10 on 10 for the maintenance and service to the resort team and the food was also so so and options were limited but the serenity of the place was unique... The memory is still fresh and green ....

Stayed: July 2015, travelled with family

I stayed here for 1 night and was awestruck with the scenic location of this property. even architecturally the property was amazing, however the rooms were the opposite. not carefully planned or maintained, this property leaves a lot to be desired. There were nail clippings on the bed! bugs everywhere and a monkey menace you wish you didnt have to deal with. To add to that the septic pipe is located right outside the window, giving it an unbreathable environment. you cannot even check out as they make you pay upfront for the room and do not refund your money under any circumstances. This is also a hotel taht is frequented by locals on an hourly basis hence families and solo women travelers should be aware. Lastly there is no cellphone coverage other than BSNL and the hotel too does not have an STD facility therefore its a complete communications blackout.

Room Tip: ensure you have a BSNL sim card when you check in

An overnight trip in araku can be best complimented with a stay in this resort. The staff is very helpful, however, a bit more attention to amenities will help. The quality of the food is not really great but there aren't many options around.
