We stayed here for 4 nights in July. It is close to the beach and the ferry port (7 EURO cab ride), about 10 - 20 minutes walk to center of town or you could take a bus. The location, therefore is ideal. Breakfast is poor and the same throughout our stay. The breakfast area is not very clean and there are flies hovering over uncovered fruits and food setup for breakfast. The restaurant is ok, though limited choices, but the restaurant staffs were friendly. The pool was ideal and my 5 year old spent a lot of time swimming and hanging out with other guests - mostly Dutch, Germans and Brits.

The TV in our room only had 5 working channels and sometimes no signal. By our second day at the hotel, it has stopped working. The WI-FI was spotty at best and most of our stay there, we hardly got any use. The towels are old, and no pool towels provided. After asking for a room change multiple times due to no working TV, the one friendly staff there finally got an approval from the manager to give us another room, our last night there. There is so much noise in the hall areas with the rowdy guests waking us up in the middle of the night. We checked out early. I don't recommend the hotel. They did not provide the basic items either - shampoo, conditioner etc. Rooms are cleaned only every other day. Don't expect much service here.

Room Tip: They put us in the old building. Apparently, the rooms in the new building are much better as noted...

Didn't know anything about the hotel or the island of Kos and really didn't know what to expect, we was greeted late at night by a lovely receptionist called Dora who was so helpful and friendly, the rooms are great clean and well maintained, and we was looked after right from the start of our holiday, Costas was our barman at the poolside bar and was so friendly and helpful and kept us entertained every night after we had eaten, Kos town was a short distance walk and there are plenty of taverna's with in walking distance at reasonable prices and the food is great, really quiet due to people thinking the island still has problems with refugees but we see no sign of anything not even a life jacket and we traveled from one end of the island to the other, will defiantly be returning next year and many more after that, we can defenatly recommend the Alexandra beach hotel if you are looking for a great holiday.

Great little find. Really relaxing hotel, 5 minute bus ride into Kos. Rooms were really big and clean. Staff helpful , apart from one man on reception on nights! Only issue we had was faulty air con , but we were moved to a bigger apartment when it couldn't be fixed. Breakfast basic but plentiful. No complaints! Would visit again.

We chose this hotel because of the close proximity to the seafront and Kos town. There are many lovely restaurants to choose from along the beach and in the town. Our accommodation was a deluxe room which was very modern and had a nice en-suite shower room. There was a small fridge useful for drinks and milk (although electricity did switch off on leaving the room). The complex had a lovely swimming pool, a bar and a well kept garden area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and general complex was maintained to a high standard and extremely clean. I would recommend this hotel for couples and young families. Make sure you check the address and location as the car rental company directed us to the wrong hotel, called Hotel Alexandra which was in Kos town and not far from Alexandra Beach Hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms are close by to the main hotel area, we had a garden view terrace which was very pleasant.

Such a welcoming hotel, all staff so helpful and friendly. Rooms very fresh and clean, the pool a d beautiful garden well cared for. What a shame for so many of the hotels and Taverners that there are so few tourists on the island. There are no migrants at all,and the mounds of lifejackets seen last year have been totally cleared, so why are people staying away. We have just had a great holiday enjoying the genuine warmth of the Kos Islanders.

Room Tip: All rooms seemed fine
